Presentation period now open for work projects for the Ramon Roca Boncompte Award for Cultural Management Studies 2014
The presentation period is officially open for the 2014 Ramon Roca Boncompte Award for Cultural Management Studies. The Award is given by Ros Roca Group and FiraTàrrega, which is being held for the fourth year. The award, which has as its main goal becoming a useful tool in the field of cultural studies research, is one of the only prizes awarded in this field of work, both internationally and Europe wide . It is open to those research projects that focus on analysis or research in the field of cultural management, such as case studies, the impact on a territory, comparative studies, cooperation, cultural policies, organizational analysis, professional and public topology, R+D, sponsorship and patronage, amongst others. The original work can be submitted until 15 April 2014.
The jury is made up of representatives of the award's organizing bodies and by experts in cultural management from various Catalan universities. The decision and official publication of the award winner will take place during the month of May of 2014.
The third edition of the Ramon Roca Award received a total of 25 studies and research projects from all different backgrounds. As well as projects from Spain itself, projects were also received from Peru, Mexico and El Salvador. Last year's award winner was Anna Alcubierre for her work ´Ongoing Collection under transition´ (Col·lecció permanent en trànsit), for Margot's travel photo album, where the scenographer and museographist draw up the journey of Margot, a painting from Picasso, going from the moment of its creation in 1901 until 2011, stopping in every place where the painting has been exhibited, and each owner it had had.
