IN SITU Platform
In March 2018, FiraTàrrega joined IN SITU, a European platform and think tank for artistic creation in public space lead by Lieux Publics.
From 2025 to 2028, and with the support of the European Commission, IN SITU network launches PLATFORM 2025-2028, a four-year program to identify and support 200 emerging artists creating in public spaces and non-conventional venues throughout Europe. Coordinated by Lieux publics in close collaboration with around twenty partners —including FiraTàrrega—, PLATFORM is developed with an innovative and efficient training, mentoring, production and exhibition plan.
IN SITU PLATFORM is an international consortium composed by a coordinating entity and partners from 21 countries in Europe and beyond: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia but also the United Kingdom, the USA, Burkina Faso, South Korea and Chile.
Throughout the 4 years of the project, three cycles will be organised, each of them welcoming and actively supporting 65 artists selected through curated calls for applications. Stay tuned for this opportunity.
