La Troba Kung-Fú

Synopsis

Joan Garriga leads this group that arose from three essential claims: he finds it as an a attitude to make songs in the style of the old troubadours, “finding” inspiration in every-day life; Kung-fu as a discipline to reach perfection; and Catalan rumba, a style created by the Catalan gypsies in the middle of the decade of rock & roll. With these premises, La Troba has created a very personal stylistic compendium called “rúmbia vallesana”. In this concert, they offer us the songs from their latest work “Santalegria” and a review of their previous records.
