Programme 2014
LaitrumMicro-Shakespeare
Synopsis
In this work, with production by the Royal National Theatre in London, Laitrum takes on challenge that is by no means easy: to condense each of the vast and monumental works of William Shakespeare into five 6-minute pieces. Starting from the concept of their previous anterior work Capses, the spectator takes the lead in an entertaining participative experience. Following instructions through headphones, the volunteer becomes the manipulator of objects in a little Shakespearian theatre that tell a story that the complicit spectators listen to whispered into their ears. Face-to-face theatre.
