Programme 2016
Iron Skulls CoKintsugi
Synopsis
The aesthetic of imperfection. Kintsugi is a Japanese technique for repairing objects that dates back to the 15th century and a philosophy that states that the cracks and repairs are part of the history of an object and should not be hidden. They must beautify an object, leaving its transformation and past in view. Interested in the new languages and the limits of movement, Iron Skulls Co. delve into a format of a quartet in search of the relation between technique, beauty and imperfection through dance.
