Synopsis

Four dancers perform a street dance piece based on the emotional journey of its choreographer, Kevin Edward Turner, after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The show focuses on how Kevin’s family and the people closest to him were affected by his illness. The choreography presents a rich mixture of dance styles, with vigorous and dynamic movements, but also humour and moments of great fragility and sensitivity. A commitment, from the perspective of dance, to break taboos about mental health illness.
