Synopsis

A project that, based on the tradition of the Terres de l’Ebre, contrasts languages apparently distant in the contemporary imaginary: electronic music and contemporary dance against jotas, working songs, the dulzaina and traditional dances. A exciting and entertaining show, a “tradition” that fuses current technology with hoes and creativity with ancient texts. A musical proposal and a remix of dance that understands the party in the intergenerational key and ends up as a profound reflection on identity. Popular dance, music and imagination understood not as folklore but as a common heritage that identifies us. An exercise in artistic, playful and sophisticated mixing, which deserved the Premi Butaca for the Best Dance Show 2018.
