FiraTàrrega. Teatre al carrer

Synopsis

At the age of 20, Bertolt Brecht wrote his first opera, ‘Baal’, which tells the story of a young, lazy, drunken poet. Baal is also a Canaanite god and Christian demon who gives his name to the Balearic Islands. ‘Balconing’ (jumping off balconies) is a sad phenomenon usually done young drunk tourists. An energetic and vibrant work is built with these ingredients. A process for understanding why young tourists in Magaluf, like Brecht’s ‘Baal’, embark on a journey of excess, friendship, sex, violence and love.
