FiraTàrrega. Teatre al carrer

Synopsis

Antonio Gades said that “dance was not invented to be danced by a thin and handsome gentleman. Everyone has the right to dance. In the villages, everyone danced: the fat, the old, the young... and they danced for sensations, for life and death. People who sing and dance never die.” In this dance-theatre performance, Velasco invokes the primary emotion of what we now call folklore, from a non-normative body, queer identity and a contemporary consciousness. A free and fun song about tradition. A piece that moves mountains, with the wisdom of a godmother and the illusion of a little girl.
