A total of 10 projects will benefit from the artistic, logistical, technical and economic support of FiraTàrrega and the Accomplices of Creation throughout 2025 and will be part of the residency and open rehearsal calendar detailed at the end of this note. Below we detail the companies involved in this program that begins the open rehearsal season on April 4th.

Support for Creation 2025

Support for Creation is FiraTàrrega's accompaniment and co-production program interested in outdoor arts, the most contemporary aesthetics, the hybridization of languages and artistic fields and the discovery of talent. It is the ideal framework for creators to experiment with new approaches, stage formats and dramaturgies and to investigate the relational possibilities between artist and audience. Each company receives a total of 10,000 EUR to develop its stage project, can benefit from artistic residencies, have the possibility of conducting open rehearsals with the public and end up presenting the show within the framework of FiraTàrrega, in September.

The companies selected to be part of the Support for Creation 2025 are:

· Banda Esfèrica Granotes al cel, aigua a la terra! Rituals i danses de la pluja is a show born from a participatory project aimed at a family audience, which wants to pay a poetic and humorous tribute to the rain and the popular proverbs that try to invoke it. A rain ritual based on dance and sound space. A hybrid outdoor arts creation that moves between urban dance, documentary theater, immersive performance, reality and fiction.

· Nacho Flores Domte Contemporary Street circus duo. A poetic and visual piece that contrasts domination with collaboration. Inspired by a mythological imagination, we witness the journey of transformation of its protagonist who, with the collaboration of the audience, rides balancing between minotaurs and Trojan horses, from chimera to the most delirious freedom.

· Nyamnyam Cinematic A piece created with the collaboration of students and teachers from the Ondara Arts School in Tàrrega, straddling participatory installation and movement. Through experimental music, video, narration, dance and live arts, it intertwines three separate journeys in time and space to vindicate the life and work of Raymond and Isadora Duncan, the pioneers of contemporary dance.

Support for Creation 2025 also includes the 2 proposals that were selected in the Guaret 2024-2025 biannual development modality.

· Llum de Fideu Tallem! The filming of a short film is the pretext to reflect on the place that human beings occupy in relation to the passage of time. With the complicity of the public, an outdoor arts proposal is generated into two parts. In the first, a film crew arrives in the city to record the last scenes of the film. The second part, in the format of an outdoor cinema, allows you to watch the entire film. A diptych that questions our privileged place in the universe and that offers us the possibility of inhabiting -even if only momentarily- our now and our here in a different way.

· Teatres de Campanya - Marc Salicrú Interferència 03 Street theatre, music, dance and installation show with participatory audience and local groups, which uses the city as a score and script. A large Ensemble of Popular Confusion takes over the territory fleetingly with the aim of spectacularizing everyday life. An aesthetic, physical and sensorial experience in large-format, a chaotically massive sound and visual hurricane.

Guaret 2025-2026

The two companies selected this year to develop the creative and production process over two years and which, therefore, will be presented in September 2026, are:

· Kamchatka Incontinuo is an event in an open space. The audience is invited to participate and share, to appreciate the beauty of the community event, to break barriers. Multiply... Invade! And continue to believe in the power of art to cause change, before it is too late. A large-format piece where generations, origins, stories, minority groups and nationalities come together, based on the previous research of Prisca Villa and Lluís Petit in their Hivernem project. History, activism and technology at the service of a show that will work with the shadow technique and will feature the involvement of newcomer groups and local musical talents.

· Marie de Jongh Bo is the first street play by this company specializing in gestural theater. A deambulatory show about tyranny, abuse of power and servitude. Mr. Bo is a rude and bossy tourist who has never taken no for an answer. Accompanied by his servants and flaunting his power, he demands that everyone be at his service. A naive comedy about gentrification and the tourist inside us all.

Hivernem 2025

As we already reported in November 2024, the projects of Pau Masaló and Albert Chamorro were selected in the fifth call of the Hivernem program promoted by FiraTàrrega and the Institut Ramon Llull. The objective of this program is to contribute to the development of street dramaturgical writing processes, through research, knowledge exchange and mentoring with experts who guarantee excellence, research and the creation of proposals linked to the performing arts and public space.

· Pau Masaló, artistic director of the performing arts creation platform Contenidos Superfluos. His project is entitled Una ombra, la propera guerra and aims to investigate the ethical, aesthetic and political implications of war recreations and also the impact they have on public space and on the configuration of the imaginary of war. Experienced in artistic work in public space, Masaló signed the dramaturgy A House Is Not A Home in 2015, one of the works that was part of the Support for the Creation of FiraTàrrega with the Companyia Ignífuga.

· Albert Chamorro, founder of the artistic and philosophical research space Urati Laboratori, has been selected for Les encaputxades, which asks the question 'Who has the right to hide their face?' He proposes a research process to investigate the reasons that, throughout history, have led certain people to the need to cover their faces through public spaces.

Other productions in residence

· Electric 28 The place Women with a special love for places and driven by the idea that spaces lead us through life, this work invite the audience to discover their hidden corners. An interactive performance where perspectives and senses converge, to experience first-hand the special relationship we can establish with places. A piece born from the Hivernem program and the European project (Un)Common Spaces by In Situ which, in a way, is a consequence of their previous The frame and which consolidates the company's universe, inspired by Georges Pérec.

Accomplices of Creation

The production of shows that derive from the accompanying programs would not be possible without the involvement and complicity of various institutions and production or exhibition platforms. Throughout the year, FiraTàrrega works to generate dialogue with these Accomplices of Creation who contribute to covering the needs of creation and making the artistic projects viable in market terms.
